JEPLAN, a leading company in polyethylene terephthalate ("PET") chemical recycling technology, will exhibit its technologies to realize a decarbonized society during COP28 UAE from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which aims to unite the world around tangible climate action.
The United Nations Climate Change Conferences are yearly conferences held in the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). They serve as the formal meeting of the UNFCCC parties (Conference of the Parties, COP) to negotiate and agree to action on how to tackle climate change, limit emissions and halt global warming.
JEPLAN’s COP28 exhibit will feature a booth in the Start-up Village of the Green Zone. The booth will display JEPLAN’s technologies and initiatives that contribute to global decarbonization, and solutions to climate change, through exhibits such as "Bottle-to- Bottle" and “Clothes-to-Clothes” using our proprietary PET chemical recycling technology, along with samples of the recycling process.
At COP28, key issues and specific targets for climate change will be discussed. To realize a circular economy, in which waste is collected, recycled, and distributed back into the market for continued use, JEPLAN utilizes its proprietary PET chemical recycling technology to create products, develop businesses, and conduct technology licensing. JEPLAN is committed to its circulation of limited resources and to making contributions towards reducing carbon emissions.
